Lately, I’ve been keen on designing a wedding for our clients here in Barbados using a big focal point– like these tropical backdrops! Focal points in your wedding or party design are great ways to enhance a space or cover up an unsightly area. Here are some ideas for creating a unique tropical wedding backdrop for your wedding:
- Ceremony: Our clients are always looking for unique ceremony decor– and I love the idea of creating a lush, green backdrop of tropical leaves in lieu of an arch or traditional ceremony structure.
- Photo Booth / Portrait Station: Our clients LOVE to hire their photographer to do a portrait station at their wedding. It gets guests involved and guests LOVE when they can have a professional portrait of their family taken. Consider doing this during cocktail hour, and add some interest to this area with a tropical backdrop. When cocktail hour is over, you can reuse this space for something else!
Where would you use an interesting, tropical inspired backdrop at your party? Let us know in the comments. Happy planning!
